- Step 1: Download Zune software.
- Step 2: Launch Zune.
- Step 3: Turn on media sharing.
- Step 4: Removing Existing Connection.
- Step 5: Configure your Xbox 360.
The setup takes a while even on my 512 kbps broadband connection and once everything was installed, it prompted me to restart my computer. After logging back in, I turned on media sharing in Zune to enable sharing my pictures, music and video with the XBox 360 - this feature is configured a lot better in Zune than in Windows Media Player.
Once I had it all hooked up, I connected my laptop to my XBox 360 and took it for a spin. The verdict - amazing and smooth integration between the digital media on my laptop and the XBox 360 with fantastic ability to start/stop/play my digital content with ease. Highly recommended.

This is MightySkate from 360i Thanks for the heads up Mav :) and i've just bookmarked you site and like your reviews. Well done mate.
But i have one question, are you able to play dvix movies on your 360 through the Zune s/w?
Thanks MS for visiting and leaving your comments. Actually I tried and got divs to work with TVersity (not Zune) after some effort but didnt really get the smooth picture I was looking forward to. It could have to do with the wireless router I used to stream the DIVX movie - but I really didnt get a chance to troubleshoot. Now I use the Encode360 software to create WMV's and burn it to DVD and play back on the Xbox - a real pain till M$oft adds support for Divx codecs.
Regards,
Mav
